Class 1 Audio Transcription Rates:

Transcription rates Single person interview or standard one on one interview with good audio recorded in digital format, standard cassette, or video format.
 

*Please note that effective Oct 1st, 2008 any audio that is not in uploadable digital format (mp3, wav, dss, etc.) or on CD or DVD will fall into our Class 2 Audio Rate.

Class 2 Audio Transcription Rates:

Transcription rate Any interviews with a total of 3 people.
Prices for Transcription Services Microcassette interviews.
Transcription rates Any audio with significant noise in the background.
Per Word Rate Transcription Any audio that has voices that are difficult to understand (i.e. poor recording, soft voices, etc.)
Transcription rate Time stamps inserted (every minute of audio).
Transcription rate Light to moderate accents.
Transcription rate Verbatim: All ums, ahs, stutters, transcribed.

Class 3 Audio Transcription Rates:

Prices for Transcription Services Any audio with 4 or more speakers.
Transcription Rates Presentations dealing with highly scientific terminology or very thick accents.
Prices for Transcription Services Panel discussions, focus groups, conference calls, seminars with multiple participants.

**Please note that we round up to the nearest full minute of audio. If your file is 38:39, you would be billed for 39 minutes of audio. We also find that the majority of our our clients prefer not to have ums, ahs, and stutters transcribed. If you prefer this, please see our Class 2 Pricing.**
